I composed this 12-minute SoundScape to harmonize the new day or to accompany any quiet activity such as stretching, enjoying a peaceful moment, and especially practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu (ancient healing art of light touch therapy). My “Morning Meditation with JSJ” uses this SoundScape along with guided instructions to harmonize energy flows for getting unstuck physically, mentally, emotionally; to bring air – the life force – into our day; and to know ourselves as the Leader of our Day.
In the guided version, the Jin Shin Jyutsu directions are as follows:
Sit in a comfortable position.
1. Cross hands and lightly place fingertips on the inside of the bend of the knees (SEL 1). Feel for any energetic movement under your fingertips. Allow the movement to pulse, grow and subside as it will. Hold for 3 minutes or until you feel an easing of tension.
2. Move left hand to upper inside of right thigh (high SEL 1). Move right hand across chest to left bicep (high SEL 19), lightly hold bicep between thumb and fingertips. Feel for any energetic movement under your fingertips. Allow the movement to pulse, grow and subside as it will. Hold for 3 minutes or until you feel an easing of tension.
3. Cross both hands across chest, lightly hold elbows (SEL 19) between thumb and fingertips. Feel for any energetic movement under your fingertips. Allow the movement to pulse, grow and subside as it will. Hold for 3 minutes or until you feel an easing of tension.
